Q 01.  Could K & R International Limited ("K & R") Global Express Card be bought by anybody?

Cardholder must be aged 11 or above with valid proof of identification or such other minimum age which K&R may from time to time decide.
Cardholder (For minor, also their parent/guardian) will be subject to the Guideline on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (For Stored Value Facility Licensee) issued by Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

 

Q 02.  Is K & R Global Express Card reloadable?

Yes. Currently, K&R offers three types of prepaid cards including,
1. Anonymous Non-reloadable Card
2. Personal Reloadable Card
3. Co-branded card.

 

Q 03.  How to apply for prepaid cards?

Please visit K&R Office in Room 3309, 33/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.  personaly and apply for Anonymous Prepaid Card and/or Personal Prepaid
Card. Required documents are listed below:

Q 04.  Is there any pre-determined dollar value for the K & R Anonymous Card?

It has a pre-determined dollar value ranging from HK$500 to HK$8,000

 

Q 05.  Is K & R Global Express Card transferable?

K&R Global Express Card is non-transferable

 

Q 06.  Where can I use the K & R Global Express Card?

The K & R Global Express Card can be used for any purchase with merchants accepting UnionPay for
payment, and ATM machines accepted by UnionPay
all over the world.

 

Q 07.  Does K & R Global Express Card has the function of cash withdrawal?

Yes. The K & R Global Express Card can be used at any ATM machines displaying the UnionPay logo or
ATM machines accepted by UnionPay but without UnionPay Logo worldwide.

 

Q 08.  Any handling charges on cash withdrawal from ATMs?

There is an ATM Withdrawal Fee imposed on each time cash withdrawal from ATMs and will direct
debit from Card Account. Please refer to Fee Schedule or contact your distributor for more details.

 

Q 09.  Can the K & R Global Express Card be used for internet order or phone order?

Prepaid cards embossed with CVN2 numbers can support UnionPay Online Payment. Please ascertain
the website supporting UnionPay Online Payment before placing your order. On some occasions,
when the Expired Date is required, please login our website to confirm your card’s Expired Date. Global
Express Prepaid Card does not support phone order.

 

Q 10.  Does the K & R Global Express Card have any expiry date?

The K & R Global Express Card is valid for 24 months or 12months from the date of activation. Please
login our website to confirm the Expired Date.

 

Q 11.  When can I use my Prepaid Cards?

Anonymous Non-reloadable Card:
Upon direct collection from our office, you can activate the card online or through IVR immediately
and use it worldwide
Personal Reloadable Card:
You have to wait for our confirmation by email before you can proceed with activation.

 

Q 12.  How to activate the K & R Global Express Card?

Initial Personal Identification Number (PIN) is printed on the card back and covered with a silver
scrapable layer. Please call K&R Customer Service Hotline at (852) 8105-8008 or visit our website
https://member.kr-int.com/en/pages/logon.jsp to activate your card before using.
K&R strongly suggests, for your own safety, please change the initial PIN as soon as possible and protect
your card and PIN.

 

Q 13.  When should I sign at the back of the K & R Global Express Card?

The cardholder should sign with a non-erasable pen once you receive the K & R Global Express Card.

 

Q 14.  Is there any statement of account issued?

No. K&R doesn’t provide Statement of account. Please login your account at our website http://www.kr-int.com/ , our K&R Mobile App, or call our 24 hours Customer Service hotline at (852) 8105-8008 or (86) 21-6156 1738 for enquiring your transaction history or via WeChat Official Account by following us at qnrpay or 僑達卡支付服務.

 

Q 15.  How can I check the balance of the K & R Global Express Card?

The cardholder can check the balance by:
Visiting website at http://www.kr-int.com/, calling K & R 24 hours Customer Service Hotline at (852)8105-8008 or (86) 21-6156 1738; or 
via WeChat Official Account by following us at qnrpay or 僑達卡支付服務.
Using any ATMs with Unionpay logo where ATM enquiry fee will be charged for each enquiry and deducted from the K & R Global Express Card account. You may not be able to enquiry balance at ATM machines if the available balance of your Card is less than the ATM enquiry fee.

 

 Q 16.  Is there any replacement card in the event of loss, theft or card capture?

For anonymous Global Express card, no card replacement will be provided in the event of loss or theft.
Please refer to Terms and Conditions and apply for redemption.
For Personal Global Express card, as long as the customer can provide sufficient personal identification, replacement of card will be provided with an administration fee charged. In the event of the card being captured by ATM, if reasonable proof of such capture can be provided, the administration fee may be waived. Please contact us or your distributor for filling application form and confirm with your distributor for the fee related.

 

Q 17.  How to change the PIN of K & R Global Express Card?

Cardholder can call our 24 hours Customer Service Hotline at (852)8105-8008 or(86) 21-6156 1738, visit K&R website at http://www.kr-int.com/ to change the PIN or via WeChat Official Account by following us at qnrpay or 僑達卡支付服務.

 

Q 18.  What to do if the PIN is forgotten?

K & R cannot reset PIN. For Anonymous cardholders, please refer to Terms and Conditions to prepare documents required and visit K&R Office in person for redemption.

 

For Personal Card, please contact us or your distributor to fill in the Lost Card Form to apply for a new card with a handling fee charged (not applicable to expired K & R Global Express Card).

 

Q 19.  Is there any replacement card if the K & R Global Express Card is malfunctioning under normal condition?

Replacement card will be issued free-of-charge in case of malfunction of the K & R Global Express Card provided that the defective K & R Global Express Card is returned to K & R for cancellation before its expiry date.

 

Q 20.  Is there any replacement card if the K & R Global Express Card is damaged due to misuse?

Yes. A card replacement fee will be charged. Damaged card must be valid and returned to any K & R’s
office or distributor.

 

Q 21.  What if my card is lost or stolen?

In the event of your prepaid card is lost or stolen, you can report the loss via our website and temporally suspend the usage of your card
for 30 days. You can resume the card if it is found. If you want to apply for
a replacement card, please contact us or your distributor.

 

Q 22.  What are the payment methods for the purchase of K & R Global Express Card?

1) Cash (only total purchase amount equal or below HK$ 8,000)
2) Bank transfer from your own bank account to K&R accounts maintained with Bank of
Communications Hong Kong Branch.
3) Cheque

 

Q 23.  Is there any service charge?

Yes. Please refer to Fee Schedule or contact us or your distributor for details.

 

Q 24.  Is there any interest earned on the Prepaid Card Account?

There is no interest accrued on the prepaid funds.

 

Q 25. Does K &R Prepaid Card support UPI QuickPass function? What is the limit per transaction?

K & R Prepaid Card with chip can support UPI QuickPass function. You may use it for transaction up to HKD 1,000 and daily transaction could not be over HKD 3,000.

 

Q 26. Does K & R Prepaid Card Support UnionPay Mobile APP for QR code transactions? What is the limit per transaction?

K & R Personal Reloadable Card could be bound into UnionPay Mobile APP for QR code transaction within the following limits.

Q27. What is the QR Code payment limit?

Cardholder can bind their personal reloadable card and Anonymous Non-reloadable Card on K & R Mobile APP. After binding, cardholders can pay by scanning the merchant’s QR code, or by showing the Card’s QR code on the app and enjoy the convenience and benefit of QR code payment globally.
